After a tumultuous and epic second season, we are finally at the three-part reunion for the ladies of Salt Lake City. And with Jen Shah's trial quickly approaching, Lisa's rant about Meredith, and Mary's feud with, like, everyone but Meredith, there is a lot to unpack in these three nights. But not everyone will be there.

We first found out that Mary M. Cosby didn't attend the reunion while Andy Cohen was doing a Q&A on his Instagram.

And while Mary definitely received backlash this season for her racist comments and everything that has come out on and off the screen about her church, and while in general, she just seemed over the show, Housewives have faced worse on the reunion stage. So why didn't she want to show up to defend herself? Why did she bail on the reunion?

Andy opened up about her lack of attendance on his radio show, stating that he "had a sense" that she wouldn't come...

I spoke to her on New Years Eve...we had a long talk, and it's her story to tell but I got the sense that she was not finding gratitude in being on the show anymore...I would have liked for her to come back to the reunion, have her say, and leave with her head held high...

An insider elaborated telling Page Six that she “did not want to confront the controversy surrounding her this season" and that "she was terrified of getting grilled about her ‘racist’ comments made toward Jennie and Jen. She also did not want to discuss the accusations that she runs a cult."

Mary finally opened up in a conversation on January 18th with the Twitter account @Tea_witdre that was then shared by the Instagram account @crazyaboutbravo explaining why she wasn't in attendance...

The only thing I have to say about the reunion is that I didn't go because it was one-sided...They told lies of one side of my story and I was not gonna get on the reunion...and talk about this guy who has past...I was a lot of things this season.

Skipping out on a reunion tends to be the kiss of death for a Housewife; once you miss a reunion, you're not invited back next season. And this seems to be the case here, as well. A source close to production told E! News that Mary has not been filming Season 3. Mary tried to deny that rumors of her not returning were false, but she hasn't been filming, so it stands to reason that, after missing the reunion, she's not a part of Season 3.

People have a lot of opinions about Mary, but it is hard to deny how entertaining she is to watch. She'll be missed on the reunion stage.
