Real Housewives of Orange County premiered a cool seven years after American Pie, but that doesn't mean MILF culture had gone the way of Thomas Nicholas. Instead, Housewives kept the early aughts stereotype alive and well, particularly when it came to Jeana Keough's son, Shane Keough. "I fit enough of the checkmarks," Shane told But Now We Said It host Steve, referencing his height and his facial hair, "except I couldn't drive legally."
The package made for good viewing for the Housewives — and, of course, for us. And Steve is also joined by @bravobetch's Katie to chat about Episode 4 of the first season, which brought us rabbit hunting, more Kimberly amazingness, and some very dark thoughts from Vicki about Michael.
But there's more — in the new episode, Shane talks to Steve about what happened to his baseball career that kept him from picking up a bat for seven years, what it was like to field gay rumors during a time that was far from LGBT-friendly ("There's always going to be bigotry"), and all that virgin talk. "People always thought I was messing around," before he became very much not a virgin: "I went through enough trials to know that moderation is key."
