It's been a couple of years since Lisa Vanderpump left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but you can bet she's still right in the middle of the drama. And it's good. Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards are at it again, this time over rumors about Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi's legal troubles (what else?).
While promoting the new season of Vanderpump Rules on Monday, Sept. 27, Lisa accused Kyle of gossiping about Erika behind her back at Andy Cohen's baby shower. A week earlier, former RHOBH cast member Camille Grammer had said that "one of the housewives" mentioned rumors about Tom and Erika "at Andy's baby shower." And on Monday, Lisa confirmed Camille had been talking about Kyle. "It didn't surprise me when Camille told me that it was Kyle that had told her the gossip about her supposed friend Erika Jayne," Lisa told The Daily Mail. "That's how Kyle works."
Kyle's only response so far has been to comment laughing emojis on The Slut Pig Podcast host Christian Gray Snow's Instagram post sharing the headline. But a "source" dismissed Lisa's claims on Wednesday, telling Entertainment Tonight, "Lisa wasn't even at Andy's baby shower, she'd have no firsthand knowledge of the situation." The source went further, saying Lisa was just doing what she could to drum up buzz for VPR. "Lisa has a show to promote and she's obviously playing the game."
So, as you can see, the she said/she said will continue. But, first, I have questions. Camille said that she heard rumors about Erika and Tom at "Andy's baby shower" which was in 2019. But the tweet she originally responded to asked if she had heard "of the Tom and Erika rumors before she came on the show." Erika joined RHOBH when Camille was still a regular in 2015...four years before Andy's baby shower.
So, what exactly are the "rumors" she's talking about? Did Kyle just mention that Tom and Erika were going through a rough patch? Or did she say something more specific? What is the timeline on this, exactly?
I have no doubt that with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 reunion coming up, we'll be hearing more about the accusation that Kyle was spreading rumors about Erika. Recent reports have suggested that she and Kyle are no longer on good terms. According to The Sun, things between the allegedly former friends will reach a boiling point at the reunion, where Erika reportedly confronted Kyle in front of the cameras. "Erika is annoyed, but not surprised after seeing this build up over the past few months, she feels Kyle is absolutely not to be trusted," a source told The Sun. The source also teased that Kyle and Erika's falling out will be "a big storyline" in Season 12. Why in the world would Erika think coming back to RHOBH for another season is a good idea? I have no clue, but apparently, that's the plan.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 reunion will air in four parts, starting on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
