So Long, Partner

I wish I could say we had a good run, but the last few seasons of Real Housewives of Dallas felt like the final five miles in a marathon — exhausting, labored, and not really that fun. On Tuesday BravoTV.com announced that there were no plans for RHOD to return in the next couple of years. It was a rather abrupt period on a much needed rambling sentence and, OK enough with the metaphors... RHOD is done-zo!

Per a post on BravoTV.com, "it was confirmed that there are no plans to bring back RHOD next year, and beyond that, nothing official has been decided." Now that doesn't mean that the show will never return. The post continued, "... As viewers have learned over the years, you really can never say never about Housewives returning!" (Real Housewives of Miami, while not returning to Bravo, will make its return to NBCUniversal's streaming platform Peacock in the near-ish future.) Dallas certainly could follow suit after a couple year hiatus. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the cast of Real Housewives of Washington D.C. to get the big call.

RHOD's momentary pause is just one topic discussed on Pop Chaser today. We also discuss Bachelor in Paradise, RHONY, and Nine Perfect Strangers (out on Hulu, today). Plus, my special guest, Kaya Wilson, introduces me to Depop Drama.
