IMO, Busy fit most comfortably in her Freaks and Geeks character. I appreciate her in this and Cougar Town, but those always felt like charicatures rather than realistic portrayals to me. 

That said, the show is extremely fun. I recommend powering on.

I am not a Busy Phillips fan either (and tbh her and her husband prob only get more annoying?), but I think Paula peak has some great comedic moments in the show. I really enjoyed S1 and I think the second season is hilarious!! So I say keep going!!

I was hooked from the Lonely New York Boy episode onward. Give it a shot!

I want to start this so bad but I’m scared I’ll get annoyed exactly like this. Let me know if you decide to stick with it or not

After the first two episodes of Season 1, I’m not hooked. It’s a little annoying (esp Busy Phillipps’ character) and slow. I haven’t laughed out loud once, but maybe the LOL moments are to come?

I wanna like it… should I keep going? Or if it hasn’t grabbed me yet, maybe I should just give up?
