This made me laugh more than I want to admit.

Given they both have high voices — and, thus, don't appear to have gone through puberty — I would put age around 8. Also, no one over that age (except JoJo Siwa) wears a bow that large on her head. 

Because they are likely within age range of a child, I would assume they aren't romantic, and instead of unseen mice parents that stick them together all the time to play. 

That said, Mickey's pants are high enough to make me wonder whether he's geriatric. He's also perpetually shirtless. Blegh.

I've always seen them as partners (maybe not romantically? but I feel like it's implied). Two mice, livin' in the big world, who found each other and are living their lives together. I don't think we've ever seen them kiss? Have we? But I do think its like an old family sitcom when the parents don't even touch (or sleep in the same bed). 

I always thought they were dating or at least pursuing each other. But, now thinking about it, I feel like it honestly depends on  what they're in. I think in some scenes they have been romantically linked, where others they're just friends, and even a sibling vibe too sometimes. I just keep trying to think back to some old shorts they were in and I think the same question can be raised to Donald and Daisy Duck. Do the characters change relationships to fit a storyline? I have no idea anymore.

Are they siblings? What's going on with these mice. There seems to be a vibe between them but I can't tell if they're just close pals or even related. I haven't read a bedtime story in which they're romantic (haha I can't believe I'm writing that) but they do hang out all the time!! In related queries, are they 4 years old or 40. Discuss.
