Mine would be middle school when I would try to be extra with my style and overdress for class

When I was in elementary school I didn't know I was colorblind yet so I would match an orange shirt with brown pants lol. It was so sad. 

Not sure if there are even words to describe my style at that point in my life. 

Forgot to answer my own question! For me, it would be mid-2000s. Remember the lacy silk tank tops? The gauchos? 

I don't think I've ever stopped wearing Hawaiian shirts. I've just always been this embarrassing.

Ugh, I remember when I used to curl my bangs, which also meant there was always a burn mark on my forehead. 

When I was in like 3rd grade I used to wear these horrible multicolor camo shirts with  a monkey on them and Goucho pants

Probably my freshman/soph year of college. I tested a lot of different styles unsuccessfully. And I tanned which just made every outfit that much more cringe.

Middle school. No one from my life who wasn't with me in that era has ever seen a picture of me then...and they never will.
