The roles actors *should* have won their Oscars for

The Oscars are two weeks away and it's looking more and more like Jessica Chastain might win her first Academy Award for her work in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. The Academy loves rewarding people for playing other people, and they also love giving Oscars to people when they think they are "due." I wasn't a fan of the biopic, admittedly, and I think if Chastain should have won an Oscar by now it should have been for her far more grounded work in Zero Dark Thirty.

This got me thinking about other actors I think won for the wrong role, as it were. My more recent choices would be:

Leonardo DiCaprio for The Wolf of Wall Street instead of The Revenant

Kate Winslet for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind instead of the The Reader

Alicia Vikander for Ex Machina instead of The Danish Girl

Sam Rockwell for literally anything other than Three Billboards

Who would you give a different Oscar to for a different/better performance?
