Ok well first off thanks for shaming me bc I’ve only seen like 20-25 of these movies! And even of those there are some stinkers. I remember hating ET as a young child (thought it was really boring) and as an adult I’m not a fan of LOTR. It’s been ages since I’ve seen Casablanca…but is it actually good?

Ok I feel like my reasoning for not like these movies is that they're almost always plotless?? I've tried to get into a few and it's like 2.5 hours of nothing happening lol. 

ET on the other hand can get yeeted back to his home planet. 

Tbh I’m fine with all of these movies getting deleted except toy story. I love that it made it up there LOL

The AFI list is THE pinnacle of cinema… well, according to most film bros, that is. It’s full of 70s era, male-driven films… Coppola, Spielberg, Scorsese… the list continues in a similar fashion. 

And I hate most of them. Though I live and die for Singin’ In the Rain, you could not get me to sit through The Godfather, Taxi Driver, or, frankly, even Jaws. The grit and toxic masculinity… just not here for it, okay? 

But I also feel like that means I have bad taste. So make me feel better: what classic do you hate? Citizen Kane? Casablanca? French Connection?
