What beloved classic movie do you hate?
The AFI list is THE pinnacle of cinema… well, according to most film bros, that is. It’s full of 70s era, male-driven films… Coppola, Spielberg, Scorsese… the list continues in a similar fashion.
And I hate most of them. Though I live and die for Singin’ In the Rain, you could not get me to sit through The Godfather, Taxi Driver, or, frankly, even Jaws. The grit and toxic masculinity… just not here for it, okay?
But I also feel like that means I have bad taste. So make me feel better: what classic do you hate? Citizen Kane? Casablanca? French Connection?
