Honestly, this is asking too much from people. We haven't been in theaters in like two years and now you want us to go twice?? No ❤️ THAT SAID, I am excited to see this, but I'll wait for it to be on demand at home. No rush for me to see this evergreen content that I've already seen. 

Favorite musical? The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. I LOVED IT.

I’m confused: yes, Wicked is 2 hours and 45 minutes long, but that’s no different than a single Avengers film. As an LOTR fan, I’ve sat through longer. Why would they have to cut songs or characters for a theatrical experience?

I'm sorry, but if the stage production can have it all in one SIT DOWN EXPERIENCE, so can Jon M. Chu. It is going to completely lose momentum between those two Christmases and I'm not sure why I'm actually mad about this but I'm MAD about this. We've waited too long for this to be made into two movies. Are they going to end it after Defying Gravity? And what, I'm supposed to just pick up my XL ICEE and LEAVE THE THEATER AND WAIT A YEAR?

My favorite stage musicals are: Les Mis, POTO, 1/2

They have to stop with this. There is nothing wrong with a tight, 1.5-2 hour film. I understand how this could drive more ticket sales and excitement, but... intermissions are only 15 minutes long for a reason. 

Is it going to be two parts, or two separate contained movies? Also, I assume they're coming out at different times? I'm not a huge musical fan...so I can definitely say pass on this!! 

Not sure if there are any musical theater fans on here...BUT if there are, have you heard the breaking news that the Wicked film starring Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo will be in TWO parts? That's right folks, two separate feature films. How do you feel about it? My personal feeling is why?? I really don't have any interest in going to see a two-part film. We'll see. We have 2 years until this happens, so we'll cross the bridge when it comes.
