AND sound mixing is all over the place! So even if you watch at home, you have to change the volume like 16 times (per scene) because an explosion/the soundtrack will be BLARING but then when they speak, they sound like they’re in a library. It’s awful!

I’m happy for the people who get a thrill out of hearing the loud booms and crashes of action movies, but that ain’t me

THANK YOU. And don’t get me started on Nolan — Memento was a fantastic film but everything since has been just bro bait. 

Not only that, but they are so dark! Like i mean actually dark. I can't see anything! 

I know we’ve had the conversation before about movies getting too long, but something that’s annoyed me even more about them is the sheer volume. 

I know this makes me sound 80, but I think it’s more of an issue with the sound mixing. The action and music levels are so high, that it makes it impossible to hear dialogue, especially in the theaters. I know Christopher Nolan famously does this — remember anything Bane said? I don’t — but I feel like it’s become the norm these days.
