I love both Little Women movies!! And I agree re Hunger Games. 

Ok I want to make the case for Devil Wears Prada. The book was awful but I feel like it's so rare when a movie is 10x better than the book. 

Lord of the Rings is def the best. Oddly, The Hobbit I would put among the worst. Took a really fun kids book way too seriously and stretched it out an uncomfortable degree. 

Speaking of Peter Jackson, Lovely Bones was not so good either. 

What are the best film adoptions you’ve ever seen and what are some of the worst? 

In my opinion the best are: Dune, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Hunger Games and Crazy Rich Asians. 

On the other hand I did not enjoy the Percy Jackson series.  I don’t wanna say this but…Twilight. Past the age of 20, I realized the acting is quite cringe. It’s always entertaining but I think it Twilight was remade at some point in the near future, it could definitely be slightly better.
