Have you heard of FIRE? It's a movement that stand for Financial Independence, Retire Early. Basically it requires you being CHEAP AS F*CK. It's "a financial movement defined by frugality and extreme savings and investment. By saving up to 70% of their annual income, FIRE retirement proponents aim to retire early and live off small withdrawals from their accumulated funds."

I went to an acquaintance's birthday party and they were doing FIRE, so we all brought our own food and drinks. Not fun.

I think I’d need something to do, I’ve always said I’d open up an ice cream shop only open between 11a-4p and closed for an hour at lunch. Once we are sold out (bc we are just that good) we close. So minimal work… a hobby! 

Asking for a friend...  this question is two parts.

1. What's the secret to financial freedom? My friend unfortunately does not have a trust fund.

2. How would you spend your days if you didn't work full-time?
