Celebrity death that hit you the hardest

As a huge music fan, waking up to the news that Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins had died at the age of 50 was nothing short of devastating. Having seen the band live a few times, it was a marvel watching this guy do his thing, and the world is a little bit worse without him.

Hawkins' death feels especially shocking, especially given how young he was and that it's another lost bandmate and friend for Dave Grohl. Celebrity deaths hit everyone differently, and some hit harder than others. I think, for me, it was the loss of Chris Farley. I was 13 when he passed away and I was obsessed with his work on SNL and his movies and I can remember the sadness that overwhelmed me when he died.
