I HATE The Polar Express! Melissa McCarthy is one of my faves and she is truly incredible but some of her movies are not it. Specifically The Boss and Tammy are coming to mind but I know there’s more. 

I was SO disappointed by 2015's Joy with Jennifer Lawrence. I thought it was going to be amazing and it just sucked. Same with Passengers, come to think of it. But I love J Law! Wait, same with Silver Linings Playbook.... man, I haven't liked a lot of her movies for loving her as an actor lol

I used to watch so many bad movies just because Bruce Campbell was in them. Also way too many seasons of Burn Notice.

Brad Pitt’s biggest curse is being as good-looking as he is — he’s an excellent supporting character actor in a mediocre leading man’s body, so most of his ‘90s vehicles are terrible. Most notably, Meet Joe Black. 

Also, I love Jack Black, but Shallow Hal was an abomination. 

I think it's good to watch your favorite actor's flops. It's a humbling experience. You learn that no one is perfect and can exist with movies that have inspired you but also failures to learn from. 

I remember as a kid, after watching Clueless, thinking everything Alicia Silverstone did would be as flawless. Then sat through Excess Baggage and Batman and Robin and… yikes. Didn’t do a good thing again until Babysitter’s Club.

But, more to answer your question, All About Steve during Sandra Bullock’s Oscar run. Also Keanu and Charlize are wonderful but Sweet November is trash.

I love Meryl but have a hard time ignoring her roles in The Giver and Ricki and the flash. 

My partner and I are in the middle of a pretty ambitious project. We're watching all of Tom Hanks' movies, in chronological order. It's taken us almost 2 years, and in that time we've seen some highs ("Saving Private Ryan") and some lows ("Bachelor Party"). 

But the most recent ones we watched were a true 1-2 punch of crap. "Polar Express", immediately followed by "The DaVinci Code."

Both just **punishingly** awful. Made two hours feel like 9. 

Though I'll never stop loving Tom Hanks, those movies were questionable choices.
