I didn't mishear it the first time, but I do say "Starbucks lovers" now for funsies. 

Definitely thought it was "Jason Waterfalls" for years as a child. 

I always thought in "I like it like that" the guy was saying "I guess so" NOT "I got soul" How embarrassing!

I never listen to lyrics, and more just aimlessly sing along, so I constantly get things wrong. But the one that still blows my mind is Smashing Pumpkins’ “1979” — for my whole life, I thought the main guitar effect was someone saying “tuna fish.” 

I love this question. I want to start a cover band where we only sing misheard lyrics. First I need to learn to sing or play an instrument. 

I was today years old when I found out the lyrics of time of my life is ‘I swear it’s the truth’ and not ‘I swear this is true’. What song have you been singing wrong?
