It's so funny, I totally missed the American Girl Doll phase. Kinda jealous! Seems fun.

I would have never known what a petit fours was without Samantha. I'm not sure how or if I use that in my daily life, but I feel like it helps on crosswords.

I loved Samantha’s style, but Molly was my favorite character. She was sassy and brave, which was at odds with her looks (which appeared mousy and bespeckled). I think she taught me to really go for it, the way she went for her tap routine, without shame. And hers is also a story of optimism — everything will work out. 

Now, I’ve tried those bonny pin curls dozens of times and those never worked. 

I am not kidding you that I am who I am today because of Felicity Merriman. 

I had a few of them because those girlies are all I would ask for Christmas and Birthdays, but Felicity was my go to girl. I watched her movies, had all the accessories, and ultimately she has shaped me into the woman I am today; Independent,  strong willed, and doesn’t need no man. Somehow didn’t end up a horse girl though (very surprising). 

Has anyone else related to their American girl doll in the future? Or wish they had? It can’t just be me.
