If it were 2004, yes, absolutely, sign me up. I’d make headlines for weeks, if not months, and become a pop culture icon for life. I mean, look at Speidi!

But today? No way. Being on reality TV is all about securing yourself an influencer future these days. To do that, you need to be presented as a hero, or, at the very least, kind. Being a villain could harm your bottom line. 

Villains like Shake are few and far between, so we got enjoy them when we get them. 

I would have to ask, why am I hated, and will I get a second season that could be a redemption season? 

If I knew they would make me out to be the bad guy somehow, I don't think I would do it. I don't think being famously known as a bad person would do me any good at any point in my life hahaha especially mentally! I don't think I could handle the hate.

Totally depends on which one. Big Brother could ruin my life if I were marked as the villain, so wouldn't want to do that one. Bachelor would be another tough one... that fandom is toxic. Survivor, villains are sometimes seen as all-stars... hmm...

If it's leading to "a lot of business opportunities and wealth" then that's not a villain role. Prove me wrong!

It seems that nowadays there's always a villain edit on reality shows, even if the truth is a little less clear. So here's the question: would you join a reality show, one that would probably lead to a lot of business opportunities and wealth, but you have to get the villain edit? 

The producers tell you ahead of time that they will be making you look like the bad guy. Do you still join?
