Ooh, I have a very powerful sense of smell, so this is the question for me! 

Co-sign on gasoline, shoes, tennis balls, and pools. 100%. Also, I ABHOR human breath but love my cat’s breath so I don’t know what that says about me. 

Finally, the best smell of all is the smell of faraway grills on the first 60 degree day of spring. It just smells like joy. 

OK you said it was a safe space, soooo, Indoor Pool. It's gross, but also intoxicating (possibly literally). And the smell of your house when the oil heat kicks on for the first time that winter. Burns so good.

Anyone else here kinda like the smell of a  __very distant__  skunk spray? 

Something you really only encounter on the road in a rural-ish area. Maybe I just associate it with relaxing road-trips?

LOVE both of those — gasoline and shoe stores smell INCREDIBLE. I think the former smells good because it reminds me of being on a boat, which reminds me of summer.

Also, I would add tennis balls and the smell of wine cooking off. 

Grass and dirt, as we rarely get to smell this in nyc.

 My SO says the best smells emanate from halal food trucks and the worst is roasted chestnuts.

I don't think I've ever been asked this question and I love asking and answering questions that make people think or feel somewhat weird.. That is exactly why I decided to bring it to the community and ask y'all LOL.
