Why does food taste better when someone else makes it

I could use the same

Exact ingredients cook it on the same exact temperature for the same exact time and my chicken n rice doesn’t come out as well as my moms. But the same thing happens when she makes me a sandwich. I could use the same amount of lunchmeat cheese and bread with toppings and somehow hers taste better. Also my sister makes these cheese grits and they taste so delicious and I’ll use her exact recipe and it just doesn’t slap The same. I really feel like it’s a psychological thing. This Tastes better because I didn’t have to make it myself. Less risk, more reward
