My old Aussie/Border collie was obsessed with food. She got up on the counter and ate a deli tuna sandwich with a toothpick in it!!!  Not good!  20,000 later… loss of a lung lobe!  She survived for a few more years!  Yep… that was a biggie!

when i was younger i used to catch worms in the garden and they ate through all the napkins that i put them alongside with in the cup 

A month after I adopted my dog, I left an open but mostly full box of Thin Mint cookies on my dining room table thinking it would be ok (she's a 22lb Westie mix, for context). She used a chair to get on the table and eat the entire box. When I got home I panicked since they are basically all chocolate. Called pet poison control and she was ultimately ok since the toxin amount was low. Apparently there isn't as much chocolate in Thin Mints as you think lol

My dog has eaten a skunk and she smelled so bad. It survived though, she just was playing with it in her mouth LOL

I overdid my fish Keenan and kel and they ate all the flakes and died 

My cat once ate a very expensive piece of prosciutto. Happy for her though. 

I am terrified of centipedes. I scream whenever I see one. My childhood dog, a Welsh corgi named Spencer, would charge into the room any time I screamed to grab the bug, shake it to death, and then eat it. I was both grateful and respulsed. 

So when I was younger we had a creepy basement and my mom and I heard a strange screeching noise so we went to investigate. My cats had found a mouse and decided to bat the poor thing back and forth to each other. 

In another more recent incident my cat decided to attack a spider cricket by disassembling it one leg at a time. Very disgusting. 

The feral cats that my parents fed would bring us birds all the time too. That somehow didn’t bother me so much. 😩

My friend's dog swallowed her LuluLemon scrunchie whole. She could've bought several Align tanks with that emergency vet bill. 

Not, like, recently dead. Like, weeks dead. Turning-into-a-brown-ooze dead. Very gross.

And what's worse is, I didn't want her to eat it. So I tried to pull it out of her mouth. It was too slippery! I couldn't get a grip. 

She swallowed the thing, whole, and the bird's little feet were the last thing I saw before she clamped her mouth shut.

My cat once ate a whole family of robins. Bit the heads off and laid them in my bedroom. Three heads. Two feet. One handful of feathers. Zero regrets (from my cat). I was traumatized but she was very pleased with herself.
