What would make you leave a voicemail?

I think we millennials and Zoomers have decided that voicemails are anxiety bombs to be avoided at all costs.

Curious, though: is there any reason you WOULD leave a voicemail? I’m running through every scenario in my head and can only think that I’d leave a voicemail if I was trying to get in touch with my parents’ friends. That’s it. Everyone else gets a text or a voice note.
