Ugh it’s tough… if I can sit at the bar and get a drink, or go somewhere nearby for a drink, honestly, I’ll wait up to 1.5 hrs. If I can’t do that, 30 mins MAX. 

IF THEY ARE PLAYIN ME and keep saying “you’re next on the list” I’ll take that line twice before leaving. 

Depends on how bad my stomach is grumbling and how hangry I’m getting!! 30 min is usually my limit. 

If you’re going to go to a place with a waitlist, you gotta be willing to wait. Checking in after 30 mins or so is generally acceptable, but when in Rome… wait your turn!

I’ll wait 45 minutes. I just go to the bar and have a few drinks while I wait. I never wait until I’m starving to go out to eat. I always expect to wait if it’s prime dining time. And they can’t force people at their tables to pay and leave in a timely manner. 

If they tell me it’s gonna be awhile, I’ll probably wait 30 before I go up. Other circumstances (like having a res), 15 mins.

When you go out to eat and you have already joined the waitlist. And you come about five minutes before they say you should be there…but you wait an additional 20 minutes out of respect that it is prime brunch time. At what point do you say enough is enough
