I think depending on the other people I’ve either been the leader or the jill of all trades. 

If there was no clear leader, like Kate, I’d step in bc I am not getting a failing grade!! If there was a clear leader I was happy to do whatever they assigned to me so we’d get a good grade. 

Depended on the group. I typically ended up doing most of the work (I could NOT leave it undone and shrug about it), but in the rare times I had a leader in my group, I think I became the artsy one. Loved being able to flex my poster board and marker skills. 

i was DEF the cheerleader with a touch of leader (i'm a capricorn). llike i'd step up in the 11th hour to make sure ppl got their sh*t together when i could tell the real leader was about to kill everyone. 

I think there's a role not mentioned here, which I'll call the VP. The person who sort of stands in the middle of the leader who is painting the vision of it all, and the rest of the group that needs to be rallied. You don't do ALL the work, but you do enough that the leader punches up. 

Is it a cop out to say I've probably been them all (except the artsy one)?  

I’m a Capricorn. I do all the work and make sure everyone is in their places when it’s time to go. I don’t want to be helped. I don’t want to be in a group. Go away and let me get this A! 

We all remember the group projects in school. From elementary to college, and even some post-grad work, you always at some point had to "team up" (ugh) and work on a project together. 

-The lazy one who took credit, even though they did nothing? 

-The contrarian, who always tried to poke holes in the groups' ideas to make sure they were bullet proof? 

-The cheerleader, who did kinda nothing but had a great attitude, so no one got pissed at them?

-The artsy one, who got by with just doing the artsy side of things?

-The computery one, who got by just because they were good with computers and/or could figure out how to print?
