Deep fryer. Got it as a lark initially, but, man is it good at parties. 

Ok, what model did you get? Because I've been thinking about getting one for the exact same reason for MONTHS but I'm overwhelmed by the options.

My dumb purchase was a laundry hamper that has wheels on it from Target. I live in an APT and we have laundry in our basement which is great, but it used to be a PITA to gather up all the dirty laundry, stick it in different bags and either carry it down or put it in a little cart. Now I just roll the whole hamper down there and it's so much easier!

Acupressure mat! It seems insane to buy, what is essentially, a pointy blanket, but it really helps me when I'm feeling achey and have pain between actual acupuncture sessions. 

The Vitamix. I got that stupid $400 blender (or was it $600??? jesus) and was like, who do I think I am. But! I use it probably 4x a week and really value it. Have had it now for close to ten years and still works great. I love making soups and smoothies!

Allergy shots. Even as I was getting them for 2 years, I thought they were hocus locus. Then I was retested for allergies, and everything but trees is gone!

An at home karaoke set and disco ball light. It brings so much joy even if we only use it 2-3x per year bc those nights are epic.

After my husband and I bought our place, we also purchased a treadmill and Peloton for a home gym. It felt extravagant, bordering on irresponsible given we dropped money on a home, but then…

…COVID happened. Couldn’t have been happier to have a home gym. 

Have you ever bought something that you kinda thought was a waste of money, but actually became a game-changer?

When I plunked down for it, i halfway thought it would be a waste of money. Frivolous stuff.

But now that I own it? I use it ALL. THE. TIME.

Kitchen crumbs? BLAST em with the hand held.

Dog-fur tumble-weeds? SUCK em away baby. 

I love my hand-held vacuum and I'm not ashamed to say it. Very glad I over-came the purchase shame.
