I've recently been criticized for pronouncing it as option number one. SHORE. I'm wondering if this is a regional thing? I'm originally from the midwest, but spent 10 years on the east coast where I definitely lost my midwest accent and adopted a more cool NY one with longer vowels — maybe it's that influence?
