Followers. Lots and lots of followers.

As a social media manager, I often pay close attention to the number of followers people have on Instagram, especially right before and shortly after an event that I suspect will cause someone’s follower count to skyrocket (think Bachelor season premiere or, in this case, the release of Inventing Anna on Netflix).

I checked in on Anna’s Instagram follower count during the weekend of the show’s release and she was sitting at 171k followers. Now, just ten days later, she’s hovering around 545k.

My question… are you following Anna on IG? Why? Why not?
