It actually surprises me just how much attention Eastbound & Down got, and how little The Righteous Gemstones get. No one EVER talks about it.

I feel that way about a lot of recent comedies, though, that seem to find a niche audience but never get widely discussed. Like The Afterparty, which is SO good, but incredibly under-appreciated. 

I watched it! My friends were the band that played at the church in the mall. They said that the cast was super fun and nice! TBH I'll watch anything Danny McBride is in. He cracks me UP

Hi! Yes! Why are so few people talking about it??  I just bought myself a Misbehavin tour shirt from TeePublic yesterday.

Also, can we discuss Danny McBride's charisma? I know he has always had it, but it is off the charts in Gemstones!

Righteous Gemstones is one of the greatest shows i've ever seen. I wish more people were watching it. It's hilarious, the characters are SO perfectly written. And even three years later, I'm still humming Misbehavin' 

If you haven't, you should be. Just finished last night. Anyone? Anyone?
