Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer aren't Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, and Ross Geller in real life. But aren't they kind of? During some of the unscripted moments, the Friends cast were their characters during the reunion. Sure, the actors proved they are still able to jump into their characters decades after they played their parts via table reads, but there were some blurred lines between their onscreen personas and their fictional characters that you couldn't miss.
1. Lisa Kudrow & Matthew Perry Talking About Watching The Show
Some actors seem to have better memories when it came to plot points than others (or they just rewatch on TBS... stars — they're just like us!). When Kudrow didn't remember a storyline, she replied, "I need to watch this series," with perfect sincerity in the face of obliviousness like Phoebe. Perry also channeled Chandler with his comeback, "It had its moments."
2. Matthew Perry On Whether The Cast Stay In Touch
Perry shared Chandler's self-deprecating humor when host James Corden asked if the cast has stayed in touch. "I don't hear from anyone," he replied.
3. David Schwimmer Hosting Trivia
All of the actors reverted to their characters when they recreated their trivia from "The One With the Embryos." (See: Aniston still thinking Chandler's job was "transpondster" and Cox screaming, "Fears & Pet Peeves!") But Schwimmer really channeled Ross and his assertive question czar throughout the segment.
