This happens to me with pizza and ice cream. The absolute worst part of this post is that I now want pizza. 

Especially if it's a '90s movie and it's a Pizza Hunt pan pizza. Man, the money I would pay to eat one of those again. 

Yup, same here. I'll take it one step even crazier and say even if it's a cartoon pizza, I still want it. Is the cartoon cheese unrealistically cheesy? Sure, but still. Gimme that pizza!

Whenever I watch Ted Lasso (which is way too often), I crave Indian food, thanks to the Trent Crimm episode in season 1. Mmmm… craving it now. 

Let me clarify right out of the gate: I don't want pizza when I see it in commercials for chains like Pizza Hut or Papa John's, because my brain is like, that's not what they look or taste like IRL. 

HOWEVER, if there's a scene in a movie or TV show where someone is eating pizza, it's never looked better to me in my entire life, especially when it's set in NYC. (There are some seriously great pizza scenes in Sex and the City.) 

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a certain food that when you see it on screen you have an immediate, almost Pavlovian response? 

If I see someone in a movie or TV show eating pizza, I'm immediately going to want pizza
