Here in part three of our three-part interview with Family Karma star Anisha Ramakrishna, we chat about Anisha's relationship with Vishal Parvani and what she'd say to Monica Vaswani if she ran into her at the grocery store. Inquiring minds want to know!
And when it comes to the Vishal of it all... that guy has been through it, and Anisha's status with him is best described, she says, as similar New York weather. What does that mean? Not sure! But we get to the bottom of it.
By the way, in part one of my conversation , we talked about Anisha's relationship with producers, the anxiety of watching Season 1, and what it was like opening up to her mom about... everything. In part two, we talked about what it's like to be a Bravolebritiy, and what it's like to be Brown on TV.
OK, on to part three!
Lindsay: How's your relationship with Vishal now?
Anisha: Our friendship is like the weather in New York. I'll say that.
Lindsay: Uh, unpredictable and a nightmare?
Anisha: Raining and cold and 50 degrees on a Memorial Day Weekend ... No, we're like family, right? ... But being very Indian, we avoid our problems and we don't talk about them [but because of] the show, we confront each other now. Because if something bothered me or him in the past, we'd just ignore it and let it fester and then be passive aggressive, versus now, you know, what's great about the show is like, it makes you dissect your friendship and go, is this okay? Did I do the right thing?
