Definitely pepperoni. But not just any pepperoni - the smaller and thicker pepperoni cups (a la Emmy Squared or Prince Street) are where it's at!

I love simple toppings. Fresh mozz, basil, tomato, perhaps a gorgeous ricotta whip. 

I would say either just cheese or pineapple, which mean I must be one of the most chaotic people ever. 

Growing up in NYC I'm a pizza purist...just give me tomato sauce, mozzarella and MAYBE some basil. However there are a few fancy pizza combos that I love...one of them being spicy sausage and broccoli rabe, the other is a white pizza with ricotta, ascolana olives, basil, and red pepper flake/chili oil. SO GOOD.

You just can't go wrong with pep. If I'm feeling especially classic though, sometimes I opt for extra cheese.

Butternut squash, tomato, pesto, and mozzarella. Delightful!

don't come for me but I LOVE ham & pineapple.

Happy National Pizza Day. Got into a huge fight with my group text over the BEST pizza topping. While I'd prefer a more complex sausage onions and green peppers most days, I have to admit the absolute best topping is pepperoni. There's no denying the power of the pep.
