What Does Cassie Randolph Think Of 'Coming Out Colton'? Please Excuse Her From This Narrative

If Cassie Randolph was related to Beetlejuice, she would magically appear in Coming Out Colton around the 20 minute mark of the first episode. The former Bachelor contestant is mentioned over and over again as Colton Underwood talks about hitting rock bottom before coming out as gay in an April 2021 appearance on Good Morning America. Throughout the series he expresses remorse over his behavior after their relationship ended, which allegedly included stalking Cassie and placing a tracking device on her car, according to the restraining order she filed in September 2020.

If Cassie has any thoughts on the series, she's keeping mum for now. Despite the trauma Colton put her through, Cassie's perspective isn't included in the show — at least not directly. At one point, he meets with two people labeled as "Cassie's friends," who tell him, "What you fucking put her through was bullshit." Several other people tell the former NFL player the same thing, including his father and Reverend Nicole Garcia.

Meanwhile, Cassie may not have spoken publicly about Coming Out Colton, but according to a report from Variety, she was invited to participate in the show. She understandably declined Netflix's offer. A source close to her revealed to Page Six that Cassie would like to be excluded from the narrative surrounding Colton's reality series as much as possible.

"Cassie really just wants to move past any drama having to do with Colton. She's being roped back into all this Colton mess because of the Netflix show," the source said. "There are a lot of bad memories associated with the end of their relationship and she wishes there was a way to completely separate herself from his narrative."

Seeing her ex rehash the end of their relationship in a new reality series can't be ideal, but Cassie has long since moved on from Colton. A source close to the former Bachelor star recently told Us Weekly, "She's truly moved on in life and wishes he wouldn't keep talking about her or be part of anything that he's profiting from, especially given their past and everything they've been through."

For her part, Cassie is busy working with brands like Lilias Active and dating musician Brighton Reinhardt. One look at her Instagram account is all it takes to see she's focused on her future, and part of that means leaving the drama she went through with Colton firmly in the past.
