Oh gosh, I feel like it’s been SO LONG since I’ve been to any standup…I just remember seeing Louis CK a bunch 😬😬😬 I’m going to see Tom Segura in a few weeks and really looking forward to that!

I've not seen a lot, but I've seen Michael Ian Black twice. Got to go backstage both times!

Also saw BriTANick twice (AKA Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher). They are amazing.

Really enjoyed Emo Philips opening for Weird Al.

Neil Campbell opened for a Comedy Bang Bang recording I went to and he was phenomenal.

John Mulaney, for sure. Particularly Comeback Kid, which is my personal favorite show of his. 

I’m also ashamed to say I laughed until I cried watching Louis CK’s show a decade ago, but in retrospect… not as funny. 

I saw Greg Giraldo just months before he passed. He was SO good. Such a loss. 

Going to a stand-up comedy show can either be the best or worst experience of your life and since I don't feel like thinking about sitting in those awkwardly, deadly silent rooms when a comedian is bombing, let's talk about the good ones!  

As much as he's, well, betrayed fan's trust about his persona over the past year (we know the timeline, man!) no one is funnier than John Mulaney. Having seen him about 7 or 8 times live, from tiny NYC comedy clubs to sold-out arenas, no one can command a room quite like Tall Child and no one has ever made me laugh as hard.  

Another close contender is one I consider myself VERY lucky to have had the chance to see perform: the late, great Mitch Hedberg.
