TIL: Topher Grace's real name

So, today I learned that Topher Grace is short for... Christopher Grace.

I also learned that Kit Harrington and Frank Ocean's first names are both Christopher as well.

And then I realized... we don't have too many famous Christophers, do we? We have the five Chrises, yes, but Christopher? All we've got is Walken and Nolan.

What's the Hollywood beef with Christopher? And who in their right mind would abbreviate Christopher as Topher?!
