As a dog owner, I find this reckless and rude. I don't understand why fellow dog owners do this. What I would do is just (lie) and say you have a dog allergy. 

That’s rude as hell and I would tell them yo get your dog. But if you don’t like confrontation you can go the snitch route and tell your leasing office hey these people keep letting their freakin bear off the lease and they’ll get a notice and not know it was you

I love dogs and children. What I DON’T love is when dogs and children invade personal space while misbehaving, and their parents expect us to find it cute. 

Unless you enjoy confrontation, there’s likely little you can do. Take the stairs?

Yes! I ended up saying how uncomfortable I was and my neighbor started finally leasing their dog. Otherwise it would roam the building halls and jump in people. I LOATHE the expectation that everyone thinks dogs are great and want to be around them. Sorry! I don’t feel that way 100% of the time. 

I would try to not engage. The more you pay attention to them, the more it rewards the behavior of the dogs and the dog parents. 

Ok so in the building I live in almost everyone has a dog. And some of them are massive, ferocious beasts. Usually I’m chill with dogs but when an owner doesn’t train them, and they like jump all over me. It’s so annoying. And dangerous! 

Has anyone had to deal with this before? Idk what to do when I’m in an elevator and these dogs get in. Ugh!
