What Would 8 Seasons Of 'Bridgerton' Look Like? I Have A Few Ideas...

We all spent the holidays binging Bridgerton on Netflix. This is just fact. But the modern take on a period drama was so huge that it made for Netflix's biggest viewing week between Christmas and New Year's ever — with 63 million households projected to have tuned in the first four weeks after its release. So it's no surprise a Bridgerton Season 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.... 87 (you get the point) is all fans can think about. And luckily, Netflix seems to be on board with that too. Well, at least for seven more seasons.

While a second season hasn't yet been confirmed by Netflix, showrunner Chris Van Dusen would certainly not be opposed to an eight season development that mirrors that of the eight books in the Bridgerton series. "This being a family of eight children and there being eight books," he told Collider, "I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings."

While we twiddle our thumbs waiting for the renewal announcement, I decided to ponder just what might be in store for the Bridgerton siblings and their peers over the course of a potential seven more seasons.

Warning: Spoilers for Season 1 of Bridgerton and the Julia Quinn's Bridgerton novels follow.

Season 2: Anthony Bridgerton
