The biggest question is, which of your friends "liked" his apology, and what does that say about them

I would hope he's apologized privately — and I also kinda hate when ppl make it KNOWN they've apologized privately (but also I wanna know). 

I feel like Chris just needs to say "All good" and move on.

The longest 24 hours ever!! I hope Rock doesn’t apologize (imo he has nothing to apologize for, publicly at least) but hopefully he has talked to Will & Jada and they can move on.  

Already posted this on a few articles yesterday about the cycle of abuse.  Step 3 is apologize, "I'll never do it again" stuff.  I'm not sure why I haven't seen articles discussing Will's anger and how he may have been abusive to his wife and kids in the past.  That may not be the case, and I hope it is not, but that burst of anger and the yelling afterwards is terrifying.  This is a 53 year old man, he has to have exhibited this type of anger before.  

I think he's gotta release a statement in the next 24 hours or so. Otherwise, he'll likely just address it at one of his stand-up shows. That's gotta be a HOT ticket right now.

Good for Will to apologize although kind of obvious it was written by his PR team. Oh well was my first reaction. I think Chris is in a great position right now in how he responds. 

Will finally issued an apology to Chris Rock: 

"Violence in all forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada's medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally. I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness."

I THINK he also deleted his comment on his old Instagram about Philly and Baltimore.

Clearly, his PR team is guiding him in the right direction. But I wonder if he’s also privately apologizes to Chris.

But… we have heard a lot from Will and nothing from Chris yet. The ball’s in his court — what should he do now?
