100%. I don’t care how tasteless or bad a joke is, you don’t resort to violence. I am shocked that he’s still there. 

He’s going to have a platform during his acceptance to say what he wants — if he wanted to address the joke, he should have done so then. Use your words. 

I seriously don't know how you assault someone and get to just hang out like nothing happened. 

Absolutely should be removed if it wasn’t part of the show!

He shouldn't have won the Oscar, it was completely uncalled for. I don't think the joke was that bad to begin with tbh, but had it been a star that wasn't A-List, we'd be having an entirely different conversation right now. 

Omg I forgot that he even was the favorite to win. This is so uncomfortable! Need more wine because I’m having a damn anxiety attack over here! 

OK we obviously all know what happened. Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Smith, Will Smith didn't like it, smacked Chris, and screamed at him during the Oscars. Here's the video...
