Will Smith banned from Oscars for 10 years

What do you think? Does the punishment fit the crime? I expected a ban of some sort, but gotta be honest, 10 years surprises me! For the lack of initiative the Academy took to get Will Smith out of the ceremony itself, they sure brought down the hammer imho!
