Don’t respond to emails after 6pm unless they’re actually urgent. Doing so sets a precedent that you are reachable at all times, and you should not be! Your employer and coworkers will start to expect you to be “on” all the time, and you will start to feel you’re not doing enough if you give in to after hours communication. 

Search out mentors! Depending on your goals, there may be organizations that can match you with a mentor, or invite someone whose career path you'd like to follow out for coffee/a call so you can pick their brain. You'd be surprised how many people would be so flattered that they'd be happy to give you an hour of their time. Just make sure you have a specific list of questions/goal in mind so you make the most of your time!
