Why are y'all dancing to country songs for your first dance?

I know so many people that choose some country song as their first dance, that is laced with misogyny and a creep-factor to the nth degree, and we're all just watching like, "AWWWWW." I know for a fact the couple doesn't even listen to country, they just googled "first dance songs" and found one that talked about never-ending love. Not me.
