100%. 1,000%. The pressure to look good has replaced the need to feed good on your wedding day. Before IG, no one cared about aesthetics — there was Pinterest telling you what to do, yes, but you never had to worry about how someone would criticize your venue, your dress, or anything else. 

My god, you even have to come up with a clever wedding hashtag. There's already too much to think about! 

Social media, mainly IG ruined weddings. Everything is all about appearances, who has the cutest balloons that say "same dick for life", who has the cutest tablescapes, who is taking the best vacation for their bachelorette parties? It is a lot to put on the wedding party. Who yes, love you and want to celebrate their loved one, but to expect that everyone has the means, or tbh wants to dedicate an entire year of their lives to your wedding festivities that are really only for "The Gram", it's a lot. And I'm over it. 

I love love, and I love weddings. But I think a lot of people lose sight of what its all about and are focused on "likes".
