I’ve been pretty fortunate in my bridal adventures. But one of my friends had us rehearse speeches in front of her so she could approve them before the big day. It was mostly for her father, who she didn’t trust to be appropriate, but we all had to do it so he didn’t feel singled out. When I went, however, she actually gave me feedback. LOL

I once was in the wedding party of the bride who balked when ANYONE she knew saw her before the wedding. She didn't even allow her maid of honor's husband to come bring her something in the bridal suite. It was so odd, because she was typically such a chill friend. It's amazing what weddings do to people. 

Told me I could wear whatever bridesmaids dress and I wanted...and went on to veto no less than five that I picked out. Then she got a gift at her bridal shower that she hated from a group of our mutual friends and she yelled at me because I should have told them it was a gift she wouldn't like. Did I mention we're not friends anymore?
