5 'WandaVision' Finale Theories That Could Impact The MCU

WandaVision has a lot of loose ends to tie up before the series comes to an end on Friday, March 5. What is Director Hayward's endgame? Can Wanda's kids exist outside the Hex? What's up with Dottie? But all that is really nothing in comparison to the biggest questions of all: how is the WandaVision finale going to lead into the MCU?

We already know that WandaVision was crafted to have a direct line into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Magic, set for release in 2022. So, obviously, something in the WandaVision finale will open the door for the future of the MCU, but what? Marvel has been leaving breadcrumbs and Easter Eggs all over WandaVision, and fans have come up with a few pretty strong theories as to how the show could influence the MCU going forward, ranging from X-Men connections to a new big bad. Let's take a closer look at 5 of the absolute best ones.

The Mutants Theory

This theory is based mostly on the fact that, thanks to contract negotiations and behind-the-scenes business deals, the MCU can finally include mutants and the X-Men. And what better way to do that than with Scarlet Witch, a character who, in some iterations of the comics, is the daughter of Magneto (even if she's not in the MCU)? WandaVisions hinted at Wandas mutant status in Episode 8, when Agatha determined that she had alway been magically inclined, and just had her powers amplified by the Mind Stone during her HYDRA experiments. If she was born a witch, that means that could potentially mean she was born a mutant.
