Gilmore Girls (lol @kate_ward), Sex and the City, and Friends, of course. I loved how having them on your bookcase was sort of a personality trait — you were able to show people a slice of your tastes and who you were. Much harder to show off my netflix queue. 

The OC (the drama series, not the reality show), Harry Potter, LOTR

Of course Lord of the Rings, but also a slew of really cheesy ones (some were gifted to us), including the entire Lost series, as well as the original Mission Impossible series, The Time Tunnel (sci fi series), Get Smart, Fawlty Towers, the original Prisoner series, and the Smothers Brothers set (deep dives into tv history!)

Oh man... Arrested Development, MST3K, and Director's Cut LOTR (which I still watch on my slowly dying DVD player). 

Although everyone I knew owned Gilmore Girls and/or 24. 

The last time I touched a DVD was when my Internet went out. A few weeks ago actually. My mom has countless DVDS but I was at my house and the only box set I own is of Sister Sister. When DVD’s were at its prime — what box sets did you own?
