Premium- TV News -What Is A Lauren Graham & Amy Sherman-Palladino Collab If Not 'Gilmore Girls'?
Maybe it really is time to let the old ways die. At least when it comes to a certain beloved TV shows of the early 2000s. In a recent interview, Lauren Graham teased a reunion with co-creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, but she didn't even mention a possible return to Stars Hollow. Sorry, Gilmore Girls fans, this is not the reunion you're looking for.
Speaking with TVLine about her new Disney+ show, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Graham admitted that she and Sherman-Palladino will likely work together again. "I think we'll find something to work together on," she said. But that thing probably won't have anything to do with the Gilmore women. "I'm writing quite a bit. I feel like the more experience I have as a writer that that might be something we do [together], although it chills me to think about writing something with or for Amy."
In theory, Graham and Sherman-Palladino could team up to write another installment of Gilmore Girls episodes, following up on Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. But, Graham's decision not to mention the show at all seems to be a sign that she's over Stars Hollow, at least for now. Or, maybe the actor could join the writers from for Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. (Despite years of speculation on whether or not she'd ever appear on the show, Graham told TVLine that she was skeptical, saying she worried "it would take you out of [that world] to have me there.")
