I Felt Brad Pitt In This 'Friends' Reunion Tonight

The 2020 SAG Awards. The Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read. The fact that just days ago, Access Hollywood shared a clip where Jennifer Aniston said, "Mr. Pitt was wonderful." In the last year and a half, the world has teased us with a Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunion. (Somewhere the wires got crossed and the universe spit out J.Lo and Ben Affleck. But hey, I'm not complaining.) The Friends reunion was no different, and can be summed up in three words: "Your fella, Brad."

Those words, now on their way to my headstone engraver's email inbox, were immortalized by David Schwimmer during the Friends reunion while the group talked about their favorite guest stars. There was Danny Devito, Sean Penn, and "Your fella, Brad..." Schwimmer says while gesturing to his on-screen love interest, Aniston.

(For the uninitiated, Pitt starred in one episode of Friends as Will Colbert, while he and Aniston were married. His character was a very passionate member of the "I Hate Rachel" club in high school.)

Moving on... Let's break down Schwimmer's mention of Pitt, word-by-word:

  • Your: Indicates belonging or association to.
  • Fella: Suggests a personal relationship with a gentleman.
  • Brad: Often used when referring to people named Brad.

A Brad who Aniston has a personal relationship with and onlookers deem belongs to her. Got it.

So what do we do with this? Do we stan it? Do we get a skywriter to fly over Los Angeles proper with the message that says, "Call her!"? I'm open to ideas, but fiscally speaking, I think we're gonna need to put our money where our mouth is if we want to make this happen.
