With a Real Housewives of Miami reboot very much up and running at Peacock, fans have moved on from talking about whether the beloved Bravo show would come back to who will star in it. Will it be a rehash of old drama, or a fresh new group of feuding ladies? These new Real Housewives of Miami reboot casting rumors shed some light on what fans can expect from the show.
Real Housewives of Miami ended its original three-season run in 2013. In the past seven years, original cast members Lisa Hochstein, Alexia Echevarria, Joanna Krupa, Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, Cristy Rice, Ana Quincoces, and Karent Sierra have all moved on from their Bravolebrity status. As of Feb. 22, there don't appear to be any rumors surrounding the returns of Adriana, Cristy, Ana, or Karent — the latter of which literally has "Real Housewives of Miami? Yes, but it doesn't define me," in her Instagram bio. But, the other O.G. housewives are very much in the mix.
Casting for the show is currently underway, and, according to a Page Six source, "Everyone and their mother is auditioning." So where do the original Real Housewives of Miami stand? And who might be joining them over at Peacock? Let's take a closer look.
Joanna Krupa
Joanna, arguably one of the best known RHOM alums, has confirmed that she won't be coming back to the franchise. The biggest problem: she doesn't even live in Miami anymore. But, even if she did, it doesn't sound like she'd be interested anyways. "Women need to uplift and support each other. I would never at this point in my life consider doing a show that would cause me stress and engage in unnecessary drama," she told TMZ, adding that she wished "everyone luck and huge success."
