"I think Erika's probably going to be okay here," attorney James L. Leonard Jr., told The Slut Pig Podcast's Christian Gray Snow. "Anybody who's trying to start her funeral... I think they're going to be mistaken." And if anyone knows the intersection of The Real Housewives franchise and criminal proceedings well, it's Leonard — he is otherwise known as the man who represented the one and only Teresa Giudice, after all.
So bless Christian and The Slut Pig Podcast for sitting down to chat with Leonard not only about Erika and Tom Girardi's legal troubles, but also The Housewife & the Hustler, the new documentary coming to Hulu from ABC News. While we still don't know exactly what to expect from the special, Leonard tells Christian that he's not a fan of the cross-network digging, and wonders whether it will take a truly fair look at the scandal. As he says, "I'm uneasy with it. I'm uneasy with all of it."
But he's less uneasy about Erika's own appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. "If used properly, a show that has 18 hours of footage," he says, "you can actually utilize that to your advantage."
